The movie centers on Eddie Garrett, a down-on-his-luck Chicago small time gambler. When he agrees to stash a duffel bag for an acquaintance who is heading to prison and discovers cash in the bag, he can’t resist the urge to dip into the funds and winds up deeply in debt.
